Hello! My name is Symony, a Graphic Designer based in Columbus, Ohio. I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. I'm a dog mom and I love comics, indie and pop music, vintage outfits, and creating good stuff in my Cricut machine!
I got my Graphic Design with an emphasis on typography bachelor's degree in 2012. During my time at the college, I've worked a variety of jobs that all revolved around design and its ramifications, like Fashion design, Product design, and Social Media Content.
In 2014, I came to the United States to participate in an exchange program called Aupair Program. With this opportunity, I learned more about the American culture and improved my skills in English and Spanish languages, in exchange for help with duties related to childcare. I continued working as a freelance designer and acquired my B2 Spanish language certificate from Instituto Cervantes in Chicago, IL.
As a multifaceted designer with skills in print and digital design, I solve problems and create better experiences for people with different backgrounds and needs every day. I am working towards getting a certification in User Experience (UX) Design from Google.
